were these taken out at the CHP academy in West Sac? I was driven around the test track on a tour. Almost pissed myself. It was fracking fun

Somewhat coincidentally, these cars were built a short drive away from the town where I grew up.

The plant where they were made, in Boisbriand, was shuttered and demolished when GM finally killed off the Firebird and Camaro. This was the last remaining auto assembly plant in Quebec, and it consistently had the lowest quality scores and worst labor relations record of any facility on the continent.

Still, it was always a bit of a kick to drive by on our way to the country up north.
